The Sorrento Peninsula is undoubtedly fascinating. Nature, sea and history are intertwined and leave just a little to the imagination. All this beauty is in front of you and you can not help but admire it.
Vico Equense with its castle Giusso, its cliffs and its genuine charm has been the ideal setting for this wedding. Arrived in Vico early morning with the dawn, we began to wander the narrow streets.
For me it is essential to get in tune with the location before I start telling a wedding. Not properly to learn more about the areas and identify those spots which might be most interesting from a photographic point of view, but to let me intimately invaded by the sensations that the environment gives me.
It took very little to realize its powerful authenticity. It was like having a look into another era, as if time had never passed at Vico.
The sun, the sea, the houses, the colors, the people, and crafts of the past, brought me back, with both head and heart, to a beautiful previous experience in Portugal and frenetically I could not wait to begin the story.
Eliana and I met almost a year ago and we get in touch periodically as the organization of the wedding was taking shape.
As for Pierpaolo, instead, we met him for the first time in Vico, comfortably sitting and having a coffee together at the tables of the town’s main square’ bar.
After two minutes it seemed we had known for some time. The following images are the story of this beautiful and very long day. I wish to thank Eliana and Pierpaolo for sharing their emotions with us…
